Dr. Erturk was appointed Co-General Manager of the Mixed Signal & Power Management Business Unit in 2025, following his previous role as Senior Director of Technical Marketing in the same BU. Prior to joining Tower Semiconductor, Dr. Erturk has held various technical leadership roles in major fabless power management companies. He also served as co-founder/CEO of an early-stage power management technology company in San Diego, California. Throughout his career, he led process technology & foundry interface organizations, as well as power management IC design groups. He has expertise in BCD devices, PMICs for mobile, automotive, and datacenter end-markets. 

Dr. Erturk has a PhD., MS and B.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on semiconductor device physics, from University of Vermont and the University of Maryland College Park. His PhD thesis focused on MOSFET device interface states, reliability, and statistical analysis. As part of his Master’s work, he designed low-power analog circuits. In addition to a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Dr. Erturk also has MBA training in Marketing & Finance from Wharton School of Business University of Pennsylvania. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 patents and technical publications.
